Health Clerk/Receptionist

The Health Clerk will assume the secretarial, clerical and receptionist duties under the supervision of the Executive Director, and will perform other duties as required. They are also subject to the Policies and Procedures of the Scw’exmx Community Health Services Society (SCHSS). The position will be responsible for the provision of administrative and clerical support to the SCHSS programs.

This position will be responsible for ensuring that reports derived from the database accurately reflect the most up-to-date health status of the communities of Coldwater, Shackan, and Nooaitch. They will also be responsible for arranging and ensuring payment for medical appointments for clients and establishing their medical travel eligibility for funding under the Non-Insured Health Benefits Program.

Requires experience with standard office equipment and Microsoft Office.
Experience working with First Nations communities is an asset.
